“Sellah”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Sellah and its operating entity.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sellah’s website, applications, and services. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. You are responsible for accurate registration information and for keeping credentials secure.
We may refuse or close accounts that violate these Terms, pose risk, or misuse the platform.
Nature of the marketplace
Sellah provides a platform for buyers and sellers to discover products, communicate order-related information, and checkout where enabled. Sellers are independent from Sellah; they are responsible for their listings, inventory, pricing, shipping, taxes where applicable, and compliance with law.
Sellah may facilitate payments or order flow as described in the product—but unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Sellah is not the seller of third-party goods.
Buyer obligations
- Provide accurate delivery and contact details.
- Pay amounts shown at checkout according to the payment flow.
- Use dispute and support channels in good faith; abusive behaviour or charge abuse may lead to suspension.
Seller obligations
- List only products you can lawfully sell; descriptions, photos, and prices must be accurate.
- Fulfil paid orders promptly and communicate delays honestly.
- Comply with consumer protection, tax, and e-commerce rules that apply to you in Egypt or other markets where you operate.
- Pay applicable commissions or fees as disclosed in the seller experience.
Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- List counterfeit, unsafe, illegal, or stolen goods; harass users; or circumvent checkout.
- Scrape, overload, or attempt to hack the Services.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations.
- Use the Services for money laundering, fraud, or sanctions evasion.
Intellectual property
Sellah and its licensors own the Sellah brands, software, and content we create. You retain rights in content you upload; you grant us a licence to host, display, and process that content to operate the Services.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sellah is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or the Services is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in fees in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars—unless the law of your jurisdiction does not allow such a cap.
Disputes between users
Buyers and sellers should try to resolve issues directly. Where Sellah offers dispute tools or support, those processes are supplementary and do not replace your legal rights.
Governing law
Unless mandatory consumer laws where you live say otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and courts in Egypt have jurisdiction—subject to updates you may agree to for specific programmes.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, or legal reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.
